The Department of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DSIE) is world-class department in entrepreneurial studies. DSIE members are thought leaders in their respective domains of expertise and publish widely in top-tier journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, British Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, and Organization Science. Moreover, members of DSIE occupy leadership positions in key professional organizations, such as the European Academy of Management. DSIE also runs a highly successful portfolio of UG and PG programmes and is home to a thriving student community.About youFor LecturersAs a Lecturer you will participate in the planning and shaping one or more research area/s in the department of strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. You will bring to the role a growing professional reputation, including the ability to produce world class research through publications in leading international academic journals. You will also have the opportunity to act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.You will have experience as an educator with evidence of high-quality teaching. You will also be offered the opportunity to lead or participate in the design and development of courses and programmes at all levels (UG, MSc, MBA and Executive Education) as well as supervise doctoral students (PhD and DBA programmes).We welcome applications particularly from candidates with a growing research profile in the areas of entrepreneurship and/or strategy, preferably with skills in theory development and/or an interest in new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). The post title as Lecturer will be either Entrepreneurship/Strategy or Entrepreneurship and AI depending on your expertise.For Associate ProfessorsAs an Associate Professor you will play a central role in planning and shaping one or more research area/s in the department of strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. You will bring to the role a strong professional reputation, including the ability to produce world class research through a sustained publication record in leading international academic journals. You may have led major funding bids, setting up, and managing the resources needed to deliver research projects. You will act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.You will be an experienced educator with proven track record of high-quality teaching, able to contribute to the development of education policy and practice and able to design and develop courses and programmes at all levels (UG, MSc, MBA and Executive Education). You will be an experienced researcher able to supervise doctoral students (PhD and DBA programmes).We welcome applications particularly from candidates with a well-established and growing research profile in the areas of entrepreneurship and/or strategy, preferably with strong skills in theory development and/or an interest in new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). The post title as Associate Professor will be either Entrepreneurship/Strategy or Entrepreneurship and AI depending on your expertise.Your leadership skills will be evident, whether through your research, education or having held a leadership role.
