The department is also a partner in the and the at .About the roleThe key responsibilities of the role include leading the development of impactful research in data-driven product and process systems engineering, with applications in process, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and environmental systems. You will be expected to conduct and publish high-quality, world-class research that complements existing departmental and Faculty activities, while securing research grant funding to support your programme. The role also involves developing national and international partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and other relevant organisations to maximise research impact. In addition, you will support postdoctoral research staff, PhD, MSc, and undergraduate students, contribute to the teaching of current or new modules relevant to the post, and participate in departmental administrative, outreach, and enterprise activities.The post is a UCL grade 8 (Lecturer) or grade 9 (Associate Professor) post as per UCL’s non-clinical grade structure.This role meets the eligibility requirements for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship or a global talent visa under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Relocation SupplementUCL currently supports a relocation supplement of up to £10,000 may be payable where it is necessary to relocate from within the UK, and up to £20,000 if from outside of the UK, to take up an appointment at UCL.
