This is now saving lives all around the world and has provided us with unprecedented multi-million-pound funding to deliver innovative healthcare that meets the needs of our local diverse communities. You will be able to apply for dedicated cancer research funding to build your team via the Yorkshire Cancer Research (YCR) Sheffield Pioneers fund and the YCR More Life to Live fund, annual schemes ringfenced for applications led by Sheffield investigators.This is a tremendous opportunity to drive forward our tradition of excellence in clinical and translational research for the benefit of all our communities, work with our partners to address inequalities in healthcare and pursue our ambition for a new Cancer Research Centre at Sheffield to facilitate our vision.Seeking world-leading researchers
As part of an ambitious and ongoing plan for strategic growth in Cancer Research at the University of Sheffield, we are looking to appoint up to five world-leading clinical and translational academics into a range of roles including professorial.
