Queen’s Business School, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Lecturer (Education) Economic and Financial History to work at the Queen’s University Centre for Economic History as a part of the Government of Ireland-funded cross-border Centre for Economics, Policy and History. This is a full-time, fixedterm post for 20 months only, starting as soon as possible after 1st October.About the person:The successful candidate must have:
- A PhD (or about to obtain a PhD) in a post-1945 British economic and financial history topic.
- Evidence of engagement in scholarly activity in economic and financial history (e.g., journal articles).
- Demonstrable ability to develop a research programme in economic and financial history.
- Evidence of a detailed knowledge of post-145 British economic and financial history.
- In-depth knowledge of quantitative (cliometrics) and qualitative (business history) research methodologies.
- Proven track record of lecturing and assessment in Economics or Finance at University level.
- Ability to teach Industrial Organization and Corporate Finance at undergraduate level.
