Up to £39,808 FTEHere at ESCG, we’re looking for a dynamic Game Development Lecturer to join our colleagues at our Ore Valley Campus.Responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive and practical sessions, you will mentor and support students in their professional and academic growth. The ability to assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve the potential is key.You will be responsible for developing and updating curriculum material to reflect current industry standards, and you will be able to evidence your strong understanding of game design principles and development pipelines.Key Responsibilities & Requirements– Proven experience in game development and ability to teach students to use game engines such as Unreal Engine 5 and Unity. A strong portfolio to showcase work in this.– Provide instruction in 3D modelling, texturing, and animation.– Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into teaching practices.– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.– Experience with other game development tools and software (e.g., Blender, Maya) is a plus.These posts are subject to a DBS check.Closing date: 11th August 2024To apply, please register or log in and complete the online form via the ‘Apply’ link below.
