Those appointed will have great potential opportunities for working with key strategic partners to further their research and to shape the future intersection of computer science and environmental science. We are excited for you to join us in a department that is pushing the boundaries of knowledge, encouraging innovation and helping to shape the future.Essential for this role is that you:

• Have a PhD in computer science or a related field, and a strong reputation for rigorous international research in AI and computational science.
• Have well-developed knowledge of the fundamentals of computer science as suitable for teaching across the curriculum at UG/PG level.
• Have excellent research publications of international standing on AI and computational science.
• Have a strong commitment to student support and the enhancement of the learning experience.
• Have the ability to work collaboratively alongside a diverse range of colleagues.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to your work and a readiness to lead and participate in teams.
• Have the ability to develop your own materials and approaches to teaching, and the skills to analyse students’ learning experiences.
