Contract type: Open endedLocation: Main CampusThis is an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sheffield.Our research groups with strong AI interests, include Machine Learning, Speech & Hearing, Natural Language Processing and Visual Computing.We are seeking a candidate with an outstanding record of scholarship in any of these areas. You will have a background in research on and around AI, and experience of interdisciplinary collaboration, especially with STEM disciplines. You will join the group(s) most closely related to your research interests in the and have the opportunity to collaborate with , and the .This also includes generous start-up package including funds for equipment/travel and a PhD studentship (UK tuition fee and stipend for 3.5 years).This role is supported by , a UK Government scheme designed to help the next generation of AI leaders meet the costs of relocating to the UK. AI Futures Grants provide financial support to reimburse relocation costs such as visa fees, the immigration health surcharge and travel/subsistence expenses.
