The ideal candidate will have expertise and a track record of research in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Structures and/or Construction Materials.The School of Built Environment, Architecture and Creative Industries provides a supportive and developmental environment to all academic staff by offering a mentoring facility to all colleagues and effective personal development plans and processes.What you will be doing:

  • Deliver excellent teaching and learning experience to students and take a leadership role commensurate with the grade
  • Collaborate with other academics in the Bradford Centre for Sustainable Environments Research Group

Qualifications/ experience:

  • PhD (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or a relevant subject area
  • Honours degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or a relevant subject area to the Built Environment
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, or commitment to obtaining this following appointment
