Offer DescriptionAbout usWe are seeking to recruit a critical social science scholar to join the Centre for Public Policy Research, a friendly and vibrant research centre which sits within the School of Education, Communication and Society in the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy at King’s.About the roleThe successful candidate will contribute to module leadership and teaching on our BA Social Sciences and other programmes as required, undertake personal tutoring and dissertation supervision, recruit and supervise doctoral students, and conduct high quality research and knowledge exchange activities.They will have teaching and research interests in anthropology, sociology, social policy or a closely allied field, a strong interest in social in/justice and applied social science and a track record of producing high quality research publications.The successful candidate will also have proven teaching ability, expertise in enquiry-based, participatory and critical pedagogies, and a commitment to inclusive and democratic ways of working.Applicants should have research and teaching interests that complement those of existing group members.
