Reference Number: 027802Full Time / Permanent– ABOUT US –We are a university with a national and international reputation for excellence, innovation and regional engagement, making a major contribution to the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland.Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer.– THE ROLE –The School of Communication and Media is looking to appoint a Lecturer with experience in digital media production to teach initially into the Interactive Media BSc degree and then a new undergraduate degree in Digital Media Production, both based on our Coleraine Campus, to contribute to Research and Impact and to link with other Academic and Technical Support staff in the wider Ulster Screen Academy.The successful candidate will teach digital media production within one or more of digital media production’s various production environments – e.g., motion graphics, web design, video production, digital storytelling, interactive media, data communication, and digital agency processes.– ABOUT YOU –– Hold a PhD in Digital Media or a related subject area.
– Have experience teaching and assessing digital media production concepts and techniques to undergraduate or postgraduate groups through lectures and applied workshops.
