Lecturer in Digital Media Governance (Education and Research)

This full-time, permanent post is available immediately.The roleThe post will extend the research profile of Communications at Exeter, particularly in areas related to media regulation and policy.You will teach on existing Communications modules and lead the development of new modules in their areas of expertise at both BA and MA levels. You will also attract and supervise PhD students.You will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:The Online Safety Act 2023Digital media policy and regulationOnline safety and harmsAI regulationBig Tech regulationAbout youThe successful applicant will have an independent research programme that will strengthen and complement the existing team at the University.You will be able to demonstrate the following qualities and characteristics: * Hold a PhD in Media and Communications, or a related discipline, and be externally recognised as an authority in your area of expertise, in digital media governance and/or policy
