Stony Brook University: Provost Office: College of Arts & Sciences: Economics Location Stony Brook Open Date May 22, 2023 Deadline Jun 14, 2023 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The Department of Economics at Stony Brook University has openings for three Lecturers in Economics during the 23/24 academic year. Starting date is September 1, 2023. The ideal candidate should be prepared to teach undergraduate classes at the intermediate level in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and econometrics, and related topics, for a total of three classes per semester during the 2023-24 Academic Year. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to be open to advise undergraduate students. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics at the start of the position and have an excellent teaching record or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching. Preferred Qualifications: experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
