Vacancy terms: Full time or job share considered, permanentHours per week: 37.5Advert closes midnight on: 19 August 2024About the roleYou will deliver world-leading teaching and supervision in Engineering, with a particular focus on Engineering Management, ensuring a world-class student experience and delivering our cutting-edge, industrially relevant curricula for taught postgraduate and undergraduate students. You will particularly support our School’s innovative Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) taught postgraduate course, using your experience from an academic environment and/or from industrial experience.About youWe are looking for an enthusiastic educator capable of inspiring interest, curiosity and drive for learning in our students. You will have a real passion for the subject matter and be motivated to provide the very best experience for our students using your expertise and skill to ensure all reach their potential. You may have an industrial background and be looking for change in career direction – if you think you can use your experiences to develop our students into the engineering leaders of the future we encourage you to apply.The successful candidate will have experience working in industrial engineering organisations with exposure to engineering management approaches or a relevant PhD (awarded or close to completion), giving similar experience, coupled with a proven ability to deliver teaching, training or supervision to graduate-level engineers.
