Lecturer in English and Creative Writing

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and inspiring Lecturer in English and Creative Writing with research expertise pertaining to global and/or postcolonial literatures post 1800, and able to teach across a broad English and Creative Writing curriculum. As well as these specialist areas, the successful candidate will teach across the University’s undergraduate and postgraduate English and Creative Writing curriculum.You will be able to make a strong contribution to the department’s research culture and group and will have a convincing research trajectory (appropriate to career stage). You will need to demonstrate that you have excellent interpersonal skills and will work effectively both independently and as part of a team with colleagues, students, and internal, and external associates.Based within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business, the School of Society and Culture is a progressive team of inspiring teachers and researchers. The School brings together subjects that play a crucial role in addressing some of the world’s most pressing social issues and that require skilled, creative and forward-thinking individuals capable of shaping the future.
