Representation; Race, Ethnicity and Postcolonial Studies; Health Humanities; European Studies; and Early Modern Studies.About the role The post holder will contribute to teaching and to curriculum review and development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, to be determined in consultation with the Head of the School of European Languages, Culture and Society and the Director of German Studies.They will also contribute to the running of the department and UCL. The post-holder will be required to set, mark and assess work completed for the modules they teach, and to assist in the examination of related and other modules at the discretion of the Head of School and Director of German Studies.Please see the Job description for further details.About you The post holder will have a PhD or equivalent in an area of German Studies as well as a proven track record of high-quality research publications in a relevant field.They will have experience of teaching and assessment at a higher educational institution or at an equivalent level and experience of teaching undergraduate or postgraduate courses in German Studies.We will consider applications from scholars working in any area of German Studies, but we are particularly interested in applications from specialists in German literature of the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries.More details of the person specification can be found in the Job description.
