With a combined turnover of circa £65m and the ambitious growth plans of the group, there has never been a better time to join this exciting organisation.The RoleAn experienced Health and Social Care lecturer you will be required to teach learners across all modes of attendance and across all the levels of Health and Social Care (this includes level 1 up to L3 and apprentices). You will be required to teach the following types of programmes:

  • 16-18-year-old Study Programmes
  • 19 plus learners who are on Study programmes
  • Apprenticeships

The suitable candidate will provide an excellent learning experience to ensure the individual learner gains the appropriate skills in readiness for further study, employment and an or an apprenticeship.Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will hold early years qualification or equivalent qualification or must have a minimum of 5 years industrial experience; you must hold a full teaching qualification or be working towards the teaching qualification. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others. You’ll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge and sound administration skills.BenefitsThe benefits package includes annual leave of 43 days (excluding bank holidays) plus 3 efficiency closure days during Christmas, up to 2 additional College closure days, and leave for volunteering (pro rata for pearly years time staff).
