Reference: 4548The School of Humanities and Social Sciences in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in History. The School is based at the historic world heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich and has a strong interdisciplinary ethos.The successful candidate will have expertise which complements and extends that of the existing programme team. You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of existing modules, as well as to develop new modules drawing on your own research, and to contribute to the wider work of the School. We are particularly interested in applicants whose work examines global and/or international histories, and/or those with expertise in public history and heritage.We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic individual who is committed to excellence in teaching, research and student support. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and experience of successfully delivering high-quality teaching.
