The Liverpool Law School seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law. This is an exciting time to join our team as we embark on implementing our strategic vision for expanding our research and teaching agenda in the field of IP Law.The School has been successful in a number of major research and policy initiatives. It is a member of MusicFutures, a transdisciplinary creative cluster recently recognised with funding from UKRI/AHRC which is dedicated to shaping the future of music innovation, boosting the creative economy in the Liverpool City Region, and influencing national and international intellectual property (IP) policy.We are also proud to be part of the Pan-European Seal Programme, a prestigious partnership with two of the largest intellectual property offices (the EU intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office). This collaboration grants us access to an international network of academic institutions (NIPA), tailored training opportunities, and access to the Academic Research Programme-a twelve-month grant funded up to 80% by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).This post is open to candidates with an established track record of research excellence in addition to substantive, considered plans for developing their research profile into the future. We would welcome applications by candidates with interests and expertise in any area of Intellectual Property Law broadly defined, including trademarks, copyright and patents and the evolution of IP Law in the digital age. You will contribute to the School’s undergraduate teaching and to the expansion of our LLM portfolio as required and you will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
