Opportunity Overview

Salford Business School is looking for an experienced Lecturer in Law to join our growing Law Subject Group. Experience of teaching criminal law would be a particular advantage. This an exciting time to join the team, as we invest significantly in the School and implement our ambitious plans for growth in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will have experience of teaching in higher education, ideally with a focus on criminal law and related subjects but may also be expected to contribute to other foundational legal subjects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and teaching material and delivering across a range of modules; set, mark and assess work
  • Supervise student projects, including, where appropriate, PGT, field trips and placements
  • Extend, transform and apply knowledge acquired from scholarship to learning, research and where appropriate external activities
  • Promote equality and diversity for students and staff and sustain an inclusive and supportive study and work environment in accordance with University policy;
