Ranked in the top quartile of the research-intensive business schools in the UK, SBS has an ambitious growth plan, which includes investments in people and relocation to a state of art business building.About the Department of Decision Analytics and RiskThe Department of Decision Analytics and Risk is a large group of highly research active staff and PhD students. This department brings together internationally renowned academics who undertake research into, and teach, a wide range of areas including Management Science, Risk, Operations and Project Management, Knowledge Management and Information Systems, and has internationally-renowned expertise in the specific areas of risk/project/supply chain management, Fintech and health care. The department boasts extensive links with industry offering a number of industrial placement projects per year to students. The Department is supported by four research centres: Centre of Operational Research, Management Science and Information Systems (CORMSIS), Centre for Risk Research (CRR), Advanced Project Management Research Centre, and Product Returns Research Group, where staff are actively engaged in cross-disciplinary research.About youAs a lecturer you will play a central role in furthering the research of Management Sciences, Operational Research and Business Analytics with the Decision Analytics and Risk department. You will bring to the role a strong academic and professional reputation in teaching and research, including the ability to produce world class research through publications in leading academic journals. You may have some experience of research grant activity. You will act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.Experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential, as is your ability to engage and inspire students and colleagues alike.
