Lecturer in Neuroscience (Education and Scholarship)

Faculty of Health and Life SciencesThis new full-time post is available on an open-ended basis from 1st January 2025 in the Department of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences.This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.The roleThe post of Lecturer in Neuroscience will be to support the delivery of BSc and MSc in Neuroscience as well as our wider portfolio of programmes including Medicine (BMBS) and Biomedical Sciences (BSc), as appropriate according to expertise. We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in cognitive neuroscience. Building on our existing teaching excellence in this area, individuals with experience using coding in Python/Matlab or similar in a neuroscience context would also be particularly welcome.The post will include teaching in large- and small-group formats, assessing, tutoring and leading modules, as well as any curriculum development or evaluation work as specified by the programme directors.About youFor a Lecturer post you will:
