Location: Aston University Main CampusThe School of Optometry at Aston University is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Optometry to develop and enhance the research and teaching activities of the School.The successful applicant will be responsible for the design and delivery of teaching and learning material within our undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes. Applicants will also need to pursue a personal programme of research in the general area of optometry and/ or vision science. All applicants must be able to demonstrate the necessary teamwork skills to foster collaboration with existing colleagues and to build links within the University and externally.We are looking for an optometrist with a PhD in Optometry or a related discipline. Experience of initiating and conducting research to doctoral level is essential.
