We are seeking to appoint an outstanding academic with a developing teaching and research profile, and a passion for and an experience of, innovative teaching in a variety of programmes at an undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We seek candidates with expertise and interest in personal development and organisational behaviour subjects.You will join the Department Leadership Organisations & Behaviour at Henley Business School – one of the most dynamic and ambitious business schools in the world, and an environment that supports academics to achieve the most from their careers. The candidate can align with the Henley Centre for Leadership.You will have:

  • PhD in a relevant area
  • An emerging or proven track record of excellent teaching at both UG and Masters levels
  • Experience in dissertation supervision in pre and post-experience programmes
  • Familiarity and practice in Academic Tutoring
  • Experience of working in cross cultural settings and with cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under conditions of autonomy, yet to have a strong commitment to teamwork
  • While this is teaching focussed position you will have a pipeline of scholarly work and/or applied research in areas related to personal development and organisational behaviour

Desirable criteria :

  • Teaching experience both in pre and post-experience programmes
  • Experience and practice in areas related to people and personal development
  • Experience of working in international settings and with international student groups
  • Scholarly interest in development and leadership of underrepresented groups with intersectional characteristics – matching Henley Centre for Leadership’s areas of interest in leadership and identity.
  • Based on this scholarly work, as a teaching intensive post, we seek commitment to inform teaching practice in intercultural settings, influence organizational policies and shape impact on real life challenges of organisational members.
