Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Lecturer in Philosophy to join our esteemed School of Historical Studies, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual future of our students.As part of our Humanities & Social Sciences Faculty, you will have the opportunity to engage in both teaching and research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in your field.As Lecturer in Philosophy, you will be part of the School of Historical studies, in the Philosophy subject group, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will also contribute to shaping our exciting new curriculum and our vibrant research culture and environment.As a Lecturer, you will:
The ideal Lecturer will have a specialist in Ethics and/or Political Philosophy. The ability to teach one or more of the following would be an advantage: Ethics of AI, philosophy of race, engaged philosophy. As well as:
