Lecturer in Scots Law

Stirling Law School wishes to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching and Research (T&R) Lecturer in Scots Law. A Scots Law LLB and/or being qualified as a Solicitor or Advocate in Scotland is an essential requirement. The School is keen to ensure that we continue to offer all the subjects in the LLB for which it is possible to get an exemption from the Faculty of Advocates exams and to offer all the Law Society of Scotland required subjects, both to a high standard. The post has a Scots Private Law focus and the current teaching needs are in Contract Law and Commercial Law.Expertise in the following subjects is desirable:
The main responsibilities are to teach and supervise undergraduate students and to undertake administrative duties as appropriate to the grade of appointment.Initially, the successful applicants will be responsible for:(a) Coordinating and delivering core and specialist modules in the LLB/BA (Hons) programmes
