Led by Professor Simon Maskell, the group has a global reputation for advancing novel methodologies that address complex challenges driven by our partners.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and publish high-quality research in Bayesian inference, signal processing, machine learning, or related areas.
• Secure external research funding and lead collaborative projects with non-academic partners.
• Deliver inspiring undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Supervise PhD students and mentor junior researchers.

About You:

• PhD in Signal Processing, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proven research excellence, with a strong publication record.
• Expertise in statistical methods, programming (Python and C++) and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience of delivering research solutions that solve real-world problems.
