We aim to build on these successes, and part of this strategy involves expanding our group by attracting outstanding scholars who will engage in research, teaching, and administration at the highest level of excellence.The Strategy and Organisation Division consists of a diverse group of scholars specialising in people-focused aspects of management and organisations. Our research covers the spectrum from applied to theoretical, from qualitative to quantitative methods, and from start-ups to established firms. With world-leading scholars publishing in top academic journals and a flourishing programme of seminars, conferences and workshops, we offer a lively research and intellectual culture. We publish in leading generalist journals, including Academy of Management journals, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management Studies, and Organization Science, and leading entrepreneurship and innovation journals such as Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. We sustain a collegial and developmental culture and strive to ensure teaching-focused colleagues have similar access to successful careers as those who combine research and teaching. Successful candidates will be expected to deliver a sustained record of world-leading research published in elite journals, funding capture and practical impact, and contribute high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
