Lecturer Salary from £34,304 p.a
Senior Lecturer Salary from £39,739 p.a
The level of appointment would be determined by the selection panel following an interview.
This is a part-time position working 29.6 hours per week.
Nottingham Trent University is looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Architectural Technology to support its undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The department looks to promote innovation and a multi-disciplinary approach, working closely with industry, the professions and practice. The department currently offers a BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology and MSc Digital Architecture and Construction.
You will have proven technical design, professional as well as academic experience, well developed knowledge of the construction industry and professions and an awareness of trends and market expectations in the sector.
Working closely with the course leader and programme manager the role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as supporting the learning of our students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a design studio context. Experience in Technology, Architectural Communications (analogue and digital), Research methodologies and Design Studio will be advantageous.
In addition to this the successful candidate will contribute to the development, assessment and management of academic programmes within the subject area whilst taking responsibility for undertaking relevant research, commercial and consultancy activities.
Most importantly you should have a passion and enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing the next generation of designers.
