Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS)This full time, permanent role is available 2nd September 2024.The roleThe Law School is entering an exciting phase of expansion and we are keen to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to grow our expertise in family law.The University of Exeter Law School is one of the UK’s leading law schools with an international reputation for world-leading research and teaching. • A PhD (or be nearing completion) or equivalent in law and have an independent, internationally-recognised research programme in a relevant active field of research
• A strong record in attracting funding for research, or demonstrate potential to attract such funding
• An active approach to inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research
• Enthusiasm for delivering high quality undergraduate programmes
• Strong connections and funded projects with business and community partners
• Involvement in projects which develop impact

For Senior Lecturer, you will also have:

• Enthusiasm for delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and modules
• Strong connections and funded projects with business and community partners
• A strong potential for research leadership
• A track record in refereed publications and success in significant grant capture
• Relationships with external organisations and funders/ and knowledge and experience of key sectors or business challenges
