Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education; School of Social Work and Mental Health is offering an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nursing Lecturer (Practice) in Mental Health Nursing.The Mental Health Group within the School of Social Work and Mental Health is seeking to appoint a new staff member to join their successful, friendly and dynamic team. We welcome applicants who maybe joining from nursing practice from mental health or adult nursing. You will join a team with a strong tradition of delivering high quality, innovative mental health nursing programmes as well as a range of mental health postgraduate and CPD courses.Successful candidates will have a proven background in mental health or adult nursing including experience and understanding in scientific principles in nursing alongside academic qualifications at postgraduate level. Working within the School of Social Work and Mental Health you will be part of a team delivering our successful BSc and postgraduate Mental Health Nursing pre-qualifying courses, with additional opportunities for teaching on our CPD offer.This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record.
