Full time – Open endedThe Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment are seeking to appoint two Lecturers/ Senior Lecturers.We are looking for candidates to join our dynamic institute dedicated to effective action on climate change and the environment, in a key collaboration with one of the participating departments from one of the Faculties at Imperial (listed in the job description). Two Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions are available. The scope is very broad within the area of climate, environment, and clean technologies. Candidates will have a strong research background in science, engineering including clean technology, business, or medicine. During the initial three years, the lectureships will be based at the Grantham Institute before formally transferring to an appropriate academic Department at Imperial.These lectureships represent a significant investment in climate change and environmental research, aligning with Imperial College’s four strategic themes in support of a Sustainable, Healthy, Smart, and Resilient society.Duties and responsibilitiesYou will broaden the College’s research capabilities, complementing our existing strengths. You will build on a successful programme of engagement and development at the Institute, working to inform decision-making in business and policy. You will drive forward research and collaborations across the areas of climate and environmental change and contribute to teaching on the Institute’s portfolio of training programmes. You will catalyse innovation to address the causes and effects of climate change.During the first three years, you will be responsible for delivering a programme of activity related to your field, as agreed by the Institute and the home Department.Essential requirements
