An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Nursing academic team at Kingston University for full time contract as Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer. Join our dynamic and forward-looking School and in this key role you will strive to enhance nursing practice and the reputation of our School of Nursing, Allied and Public Health in the area of adult nursing care across all domains of practice. Articulate and well respected, you will teach primarily across pre-registration nursing programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In particular, you will have the ability to inspire our students and will have a keen interest in developing education. Alongside being involved in the pastoral care of students, you will be encouraged and supported to further your interests in research, enterprise or professional practice. Our School celebrates equality, diversity and inclusivity and we welcome applications from individuals who represent the full spectrum of our community.The PersonYou will be a nurse on the NMC register (adult), educated to at least degree level, with experience of caring for the adult patients. You are enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated. You are interested in teaching and can share your skills and expertise with the nursing workforce of the future. A teaching qualification is desirable but non-essential. We welcome people who are currently within clinical practice and who would like to have some experience in academia. The Faculty supports new members of staff to gain appropriate qualifications and are keen to support ongoing academic and professional development.
