You will be integral to increasing our well-established research activities in future-focused technologies for sustainability, specifically sustainable materials, and preparing the next generation to play a key role in achieving sustainable manufacturing through our highly-rated undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses.We are looking for someone with a track record of research excellence in either sustainable polymer engineering / processing or sustainable battery materials. We welcome both wet lab and in silico research activities, including the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in your research area.For the senior lecturer role, you have an established track record of research excellence as demonstrated by internationally leading research publications and evidence of securing significant research funding in your field. You will be able to teach across the breadth and depth of our programmes including chemical engineering design.About the roleYou will work in reaction engineering and sustainable energy systems with research interests in environmentally-focused applications to achieve triple-bottom-line performance. We welcome both wet lab and in silico research activities, including the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in your research area. You will be a member of one of the Faculty of Engineering & Design , as well as , , and .
