Department:Grade 8 £46,974 – £56,021 per annum. Potential to progress to £63,029 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.Grade 9 £59,421 – £66,857 per annum. Potential to progress to £77,475 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Data Science and AI to enhance and expand our excellent research and teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the following areas:
You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field, a developing (Lecturer) / established (Senior Lecturer) research profile, a proven teaching ability, a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.We are particularly keen to attract applications from those who have a good understanding of FATES (fairness, accountability, transparency, ethics, safety and security) principles and responsible data and AI practices in data science research.As the role will involve supervising and supporting research students and colleagues, you will be required to foster a culture of mutual support and collegiality.
