Home to four specialist schools – Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Leicester School of Nursing, Midwifery and paramedicine, and Leicester School of Pharmacy. The faculty educates and develops professionals who make a significant difference to lives, health, wellbeing, communities and society.RoleThe Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences (LSAHS) offers a number UG and PG programmes, including BMedSci (Hons) in Medical Science. The School invites applications from highly-motivated individuals to primarily teach on Medical Science programme and provide academic leadership. You will be expected to make a full contribution to teaching at UG and PG level. You will join an enthusiastic team working in modern teaching and research facilities. As Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Medical Science, you will assist with teaching and assessment on the medical science and other programmes as relevant.Ideal CandidateTo be successful, you should have a PhD in a bioscience or clinical/healthcare related discipline. Experience of teaching relevant medical science topics including clinical content, creating and delivering laboratory and clinical skills based practical sessions at HE level. You will be expected to have knowledge of molecular biology and/or cancer biology and therapeutics and relevant research interests within the area of Medical Science and contribute to the research profile of the Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences (LSAHS).£38,205 to £54,395. Grade F
