Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Retinal Disease

The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Retinal Disease.The appointed candidate will expand the research excellence and strengthen the academic base within the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine, employing multidisciplinary and innovative approaches to advance our understanding in the theme of vision science and vascular biology to include retinal disease (e.g. diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration), immunologic/inflammatory disorders of the eye, disorders of the eye with links to other chronic conditions such as ageing/dementia/neurological disorders. They will also teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contribute to School and Institute administration / outreach activity.The Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine provides an outstanding environment of research excellence.
