This is a permanent post. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record and potential in Software Security, pioneering state-of-the-art techniques and addressing new software security problems. Of particular interest are experimental approaches that provide empirical evidence of the security or resilience of the software under consideration, demonstrating that the software will not cause harm, is protected against attacks, and is capable to recover. Applicants will also be expected to be committed to innovative teaching, to care about the student experience, and to be able to contribute to the development of a modern curriculum supported by laboratory based practical and project-based learning.The Computer Science Department at Swansea University is ranked highly for both teaching and research: The Guardian University Guide 2023 placed it 25th in the UK and 1st in Wales.
