The roleBristol Veterinary School is recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with vision and commitment to drive veterinary public health research and teaching for the 21st century.
This role is advertised from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer level, and offered on either our Research and Teaching (Pathway 1) or Education and Teaching (Pathway 3) academic tracks. A Full- or Part-time appointment will also be considered.What will you be doing?You will be committed to education through leadership, innovation and a shared vision of what it means to train the veterinary surgeons of the future.
The successful candidate will join the existing Veterinary Public Health Team. On Pathway 1, you will have an existing track record in research commensurate with career stage and will be expected to develop and consolidate a relevant research programme. On Pathway 3, you will contribute to, and lead aspects of, the teaching of veterinary public health, with opportunities to support wider aspects of the clinical and professional curriculum, and research.You should apply ifYou will have a veterinary qualification that can be registered with the RCVS (BVSc or equivalent), and you are a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Public Health (Food Science) or currently working towards the examination. You will demonstrate experience of, and a commitment to, training the next generation of veterinary surgeons.
On Pathway 1, you will have an established, independent track record in research.
