Lecturer (Teaching) in Non-Fiction Writing

About the role

This is an open-ended, part-time position at 0.4 FTE, starting on September 1, 2023. We are seeking applicants who have outstanding professional and teaching experience in the field of non-fiction writing. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in writing for radio and film, as well as other written publications that encompass both creative and journalistic work.

About you

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of teaching non-fiction writing at higher education level. No prior grounding in anthropology as a discipline is required though we are looking for candidates that can recognise the anthropological value in the work they create. They will also take a leading role in providing pastoral care for the students on their modules.
