Legal Counsel | 5-10 years | CalgaryOur client, a large public company based in Calgary with offices in the US, is seeking a talented lawyer to join their Calgary team.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in securities, corporate commercial law, and mergers and acquisitions. This role also involves providing support to the Office of the Corporate Secretary for various corporate governance matters, as well as supporting the company’s Treasury, Pension, Financial Reporting, and Sustainability teams. A good working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. securities laws, including familiarity with SOX Compliance and cross-border public financing, is essential for this role.
