ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels is focal point for technical, market and policy questions for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with European Commission, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly professional and skilled Legal Expert System Development, passionate about the European Power Grid and the Energy Market. Do you have deep legal analytical expertise, combined with excellent interpersonal skills? Are you ready to work at the forefront of the legal developments in the European energy markets? You will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels in the Legal section, reporting directly to the System Development and Operations Manager. The Legal section is comprised of around 12 internal and external staff.
As Legal Expert System Development at ENTSO-E, you will provide legal advice on the development of the power grid in accordance with the latest European energy law developments, such as Energy Market Design Reform. You will work on such fascinating topics as the offshore infrastructure development and the European energy system Flexibility Needs Assessment.
You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work to support a good work-life balance.
The above tasks include transversal interaction with the work of other Secretariat Sections; cooperation with the members of the LRG; project management; participation in meetings with the European Commission and ACER.
Responsibilities may be subject to change depending on the evolution of priorities and projects.
