FINABEL – The European Land Force Commanders Organisation is constantly looking for talented students and graduates to join its team as Trainees.
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Legal Research Trainee to join our team. 
 
Tasks
  • Produce different types of academic papers (News Flash, Info Flash and Food For Thought papers) related to International Humanitarian Law and relevant military legal aspects;
  • Conduct in-depth research on topics related to International Humanitarian Law, security and defence;
  • Analyse the legal aspects of military interoperability and their implications for international and European security frameworks;
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments in international and European law, particularly those affecting military operations and security policies;
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a multicultural team promoting teamwork and fostering a positive environment.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor in Law and be currently enrolled in the last year of a Master in Law
  • Academic background in law with specific knowledge of Public, European and International Law
  • Have a proven working knowledge of written and spoken English (C1): either a language certificate or university exams that test the level of the language
  • Show interest in FINABEL’s activities

Note: This is an unpaid traineeship. However, there is a possibility to obtain an Erasmus+ grant if the applicant is enrolled in a university.
