Minimum salary for this position is $6,375.00. The University of Michigan-Flint invites applications for a part-time facultyposition at the Lecturer I level for the period of August 23 through December 18, 2024. The position requires teaching a 3-credit hour undergraduate course POL 120 US National Government and Politics. This course is an introductory US Politics course and covers US political institutions, constitutional rights, and political behavior.
The course is scheduled to be taught in the online asynchronous, fully online format. The instructor must have materialsappropriate to teaching in this setting. The budget for this position is for the fall 2024 term only.

Required Qualifications
Prospective candidates should minimally possess a master’s degree in political science. Graduate work must have been completed within an accredited program. Evidence of relevant teaching experience is required.
Desired Qualifications
Formal training in political science and in teaching at the secondary level is preferred.
