September startAcademic Appointments are working with a Primary school in Sheffield S20 who are seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 and KS2 on a full time long term basis until July 2024. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to pupils.A successful Teaching Assistant candidate would:

• Have experience as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant either in mainstream schools or any other alternative provision.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
• Have a history of working as a Teaching Assistant with students with challenging behaviour, autism, SEMH.
• Have a confident, caring, and assertive personality
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills
• Have good behaviour management skills
• A commitment to helping children reach their full potential
