Salary: £83.33-£90 per day
Start Date: ImmediateGSL Education is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Exeter. This full-time role provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, supporting their education and personal development in a nurturing environment.About the RoleAs an Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 3 to 19, delivering tailored support to meet their individual educational and emotional needs. The role is perfect for someone who is passionate about inclusivity and creating positive learning experiences.Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support for students with special educational needs.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualised education and support plans in collaboration with teachers and professionals.
• Create a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction, emotional well-being, and academic progress.
• Support classroom activities and help implement targeted interventions to ensure progress and engagement.
• Adapt to the varying needs of students, ensuring inclusivity in all aspects of their learning.

Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory for this role.
• Previous experience as an Level 3 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to diverse needs.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
