Job descriptionLevel 4 Teaching Assistant – Bolton – September startProspero Teaching are looking for an experienced HLTA to work at a large secondary school on the outskirts of Bolton to work with small groups of ASD and SEMH children to provide long term supply cover in a provision for the whole of the 24/25 academic year on a full time basis.It is essential that you have experience working in an alternative provision within a school and be able and qualified to teach students as a level 4 teaching assistant. There will be times where you will lead sessions and act as the class teacher. You will deliver engaging sessions and create a calm and positive atmosphereHLTA Contract/Position Details

• Hours 8:30am- 4pm (term time only)

HLTA Experience, Training and Qualifications

• It is essential that you have HLTA experience, along with a relevant HLTA qualification.
• Experience working with ASD and/or SEMH pupils.
• Experience in Secondary Schools is ESSENTIAL

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last 12 months (essential).
• Up-to-date prevent awareness traiining issued in the last 3 years (essential)
• Up to date FGM training (essential),
• Strong behaviour management skills are a must.

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

• Be elgible to work on a full time basis in the UK

• Possess an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.

• Provide a minimum of two professional related references.
