The TTC’s new vision and mission statements also help promote the many environmental, social equity and economic benefits that the TTC provides:Vision: Moving Toronto towards a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future.Mission: To serve the needs of transit riders by providing a safe, reliable, efficient, and accessible mass public transit service through a seamless integrated network to create access to opportunity for everyone.The full Plan canCareer OpportunityCome join our team at this exciting time and apply for the Light Rail Business Services Coordinator position!What You Will DoReporting to Manager, Light Rail Transit Agreements, the incumbent is responsible for the required interface and delivery of activities in relation to the shared services (which include functions of contractual compliance, finance, procurement, human resources, IT support, etc.) which support the Light Rail Transit Operations Department. The incumbent will be responsible to provide technical expertise for the negotiation and monitoring of various LRT Agreements and any related agreements. The incumbent will use their extensive knowledge to develop, maintain and monitor contractual compliance trackers, develop contractual procedures, policies, etc. based on the LRT Agreements, and ensure TTC’s compliance with its contractual obligations while establishing relationships with TTC’s external partners. The incumbent will also collaborate with TTC’s Commercial Management Department to create and use corporate templates to ensure consistency. The incumbent will also participate and lead the annual budget preparation for LRT Operations Department, participate in audits, and work with the TTC’s procurement department to develop terms of reference and evaluate Request for Bids (RFB) on behalf of LRT Operations Department.
