We are inviting applications for a Fellowship to join the Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence (LITE) commissioned to support the online education strategy and in collaboration with the Digital Education Service.

LITE embodies the University’s commitment to excellence and innovation in education through its investment in a community of Fellows, giving colleagues the opportunity to develop and implement projects and establish a culture of high-quality teaching innovation, scholarship, and leadership.

This fellowship will explore the research and good practice around providing a high quality, accessible, and inclusive, and rewarding student experience on fully online courses. The University already offers several fully online degrees and has an ambitious plan to expand the portfolio over the next 10 years as part of its strategic commitment to digital transformation and widening participation. It is anticipated that these courses, open to a global audience, will attract students from diverse backgrounds and contexts.

This Fellowship involves defining new approaches to learning design appropriate to immersive learning experiences in collaboration with students, academic experts, and professional specialists. It will play a leading role in establishing new ways of working and approaches to developing immersive learning experiences for online education.
