Project Brief
The Food Systems Project of the Philippines with partnerships with Public-Private Partnership, aims to establish a centralized hub for the efficient distribution, storage, and processing of agricultural products.
This initiative will enhance food supply chains across Luzon and Metro Manila. Core components include a wholesale market, a warehouse program, and service areas for organized producers to supply quality food directly to retailers and suppliers. The project will be developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model to ensure sustainability,
operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
Scope of Work
Analyze livestock and poultry value chains, identify production challenges, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, market access. Provide inputs on infrastructure needs, operational practices, and supply chain strategies.
Qualification Requirements
Education/Training: At least a master’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, animal science or a related field.
Language: Filipino and English
Professional experience:
● Minimum 10 years’ experience in livestock and poultry production systems, supply chains, or industry-specific development.
● Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
● Has done consulting projects in the development sector is highly preferred.
