NHS TAYSIDENINEWELLS HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL SCHOOL, DUNDEEPART OF THE ACADEMIC HEALTH SCIENCE PARTNERSHIP [AHSP] IN TAYSIDELOCUM CONSULTANT GASTROENTEROLOGISTNHS Tayside is recruiting 1 Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist.This is a fixed term post (up to 12 months) joining our existing team of luminal and liver consultants providing gastroenterology services to the patients of NHS Tayside. The post holder will deliver predominantly endoscopy sessions but may also contribute to outpatient gastroenterology clinics.. The post requires full competency in therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.In addition, the successful applicant will be encouraged to take part in postgraduate training and education along with opportunities to collaborate in research, and quality improvement in keeping with a consultant position in a Teaching Hospital.Candidates must possess MRCP (or equivalent) and hold current GMC registration.Informal enquiries are welcome by contacting Dr Michael Miller, Consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopy Lead (Tay.gastroadmin@nhs.scot) or Clinical Director , Dr Chris Schofield (christopher.schofield@nhs.scot)
